Adult Arty Classes

Enjoy stepping into a fun filled space, perfect for beginners or artist wanting to get back into some arty play again! Our studio is a safe space where you can freely create and simply have fun doing all things arty. Experiment and explore a range of mediums, techniques and socialise with other like minded creators.

Discover your favourite art style through learning the fundamentals behind a range of liquid and sketching mediums, including watercolours, gouache, acrylics, oils, pencils, pen inks and more. You will experiment mixing, layering, combining different mediums and understand colour theory to kickstart and/or re-spark your art journey!

In each class we will focus on a topic, medium, and/or style to emphasise during the session. You will be free to delve into the class focus for experimentation and exploration. If you would like to branch out, you are welcome to work on a personal project and seek guidance when needed.

Our studio will have the essential paints and tools you need to get creating. If you have any materials and equipment you specifically love to use, or that are important for a personal project, you are welcome to bring them along. (Please ensure if personal art items are brought to class, they are your responsibility and must be taken home after class).

Classes are held on a weekly basis every Thursday evening. Occasionally, days may change from time to time to suit all attendees.

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30 pm (90 Minute class)

When: Thursday evening starting back up on 9th January, 2025 

Sketching Fundamentals: Begin 16th January, 2025

We will be going back to the basics over the next bundle of sessions, taking a dive into sketching fundamentals. Sketching is the most important stage of a piece! 

Understand all areas of page set up, proportions, shape, composition, texture, shade/ light and more. We will use sketching mediums like graphite pencils, watercolour pencils, charcoal to explore and play with.  

Price includes all materials and equipment.
